How we score Konted C10CX
AZNO's editorial feature-and-portability score is 7.3/10, with 55% assessed rubric coverage. It describes the named configuration, not clinical image quality, diagnostic accuracy, reliability or value for money.
| Criterion | Weight | Grade / 10 | Weighted points | Evidence for this configuration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supplied imaging formats | 20% | 5.0 | 1.00 | One linear format in the named model. Manufacturer source |
| Imaging and Doppler functions | 25% | Unassessed | Excluded | Unassessed: color/black-and-white and 192/128-element copy conflicts remain unresolved for the delivered revision. Manufacturer source |
| Processing and smart tools | 20% | Unassessed | Excluded | Unassessed: exact revision and technology entitlement not established. Manufacturer source |
| Indicative scanning runtime | 20% | 9.0 | 1.80 | Brochure claims at least three hours; workload not established. Not a measured all-mode result. Manufacturer source |
| Probe-only weight | 15% | 8.0 | 1.20 | 223 g in the model brochure; host excluded. Manufacturer source |

Calculation, not a mystery number
Score = sum of assessed weighted points ÷ assessed weight. For this review: 4.00 ÷ 0.55 = 7.3/10 after final rounding. Missing criteria receive neither zero nor an invented neutral grade; they are excluded and the coverage is disclosed.
Limited evidence — do not rank this total against fully assessed devices. A score can move substantially when missing kit specifications are confirmed. Coverage is the percentage of rubric weight assessed, not a probability of accuracy.
Shared grading anchors
The same five weights and thresholds apply to all ten reviews. A higher feature score is not automatically the right device for a specialist's workflow.
- Supplied imaging formats · 20%
- 5: one format; 8: two; 10: linear, convex and phased. Optional unpurchased heads do not count. A focused specialist is not necessarily a worse purchase.
- Imaging and Doppler functions · 25%
- 6: documented B/2D, M and color; 8: those functions plus PW; 10: PW plus CW/TDI. Unverified kit entitlements remain unassessed. This measures function breadth, not image quality.
- Processing and smart tools · 20%
- 7: documented harmonic, compound or advanced image processing; 10: documented automated measurement or guidance in the reviewed entitlement. Unknown tools are unassessed, not absent. This does not score algorithm accuracy.
- Indicative scanning runtime · 20%
- 5: below 60 min; 6: 60–89; 7: 90–119; 8: 120–179; 9: 180–239; 10: 240+ min. Use the conservative end of a range; an up-to figure remains a maximum. Host-powered and probe-powered scenarios are not equivalent tests.
- Probe-only weight · 15%
- 10: ≤150 g; 9: >150–200; 8: >200–250; 7: >250–300; 6: >300–350; 5: >350–400; 4: >400 g. Do not substitute display/system weight for probe-only weight.
How to compare: match intended examinations, included probes, software entitlement and host first. Compare ready-to-scan package cost separately. Runtime claims use different workloads; probe-only weight excludes displays/accessories. Small numerical differences are not demonstrated clinical performance differences.
Unified on October 13, 2026: this shared rubric replaces the two earlier batch methods. Recalculated totals may differ from earlier versions. Prices, customer anecdotes and unverified electrical draw do not enter the numerical score.
Review scope
Document-based review. AZNO has not tested this probe or independently measured its images, battery or reliability.
What are you buying?
The C10CX is a wireless linear ultrasound probe from Beijing Konted Medical Technology. It offers a useful comparison with the wired Philips Lumify L12-4 for buyers assessing a specialist superficial-imaging setup. This is an editorial comparison of purchase requirements; it does not establish equivalent image quality or clinical suitability. The C10CX should not be confused with similarly named C10CX PRO, C10CS or C10UL products. [K1]
Documented specifications and an important inconsistency
Konted's product table lists 7.5–10 MHz operation, selectable depths from 20 to 100 mm, and B, B/M, Color, PW and PDI modes. It identifies Wi-Fi connectivity and iOS, Android and Windows host families. [K1]
The same page is internally inconsistent: its specification table says 192 elements, while a lower feature paragraph says 128 and describes black-and-white imaging. The model brochure supports 192 elements and color/Doppler modes. That supports using the brochure as a reference, but it does not prove which hardware revision a seller will deliver. Require a dated exact-model specification and photograph of the model label before treating the conflict as resolved. [K1, K2]
Host compatibility and daily use
An operating-system family is not an approved-device list. Ask for the current application name, version, supported phone/tablet models and OS versions for your destination. Demonstrate connection recovery, saving and export on your chosen host. Do not assume the USB charging cable is also a supported wired scanning connection; the reviewed C10CX documentation describes wireless imaging. [K1, K2]
The brochure lists JPG, AVI, MP4 and DICOM export. A DICOM file capability alone does not establish successful worklist, archive or hospital integration. Have the required workflow tested before acceptance. [K2]
Image quality and feedback limitations
No verified, configuration-specific independent owner sample was established for this review. Manufacturer images and feature labels are not a substitute for comparative testing. A useful demonstration should address the structures, depth and handling relevant to the intended work, under qualified supervision. Avoid awarding image-quality points simply for an element count or a long preset list.
Positive social-media comments
No sufficiently verified independent C10CX-specific positive owner report was established for this supplied review.
Negative social-media comments
No sufficiently verified independent C10CX-specific negative owner report was established. The documentation conflict discussed here is AZNO's purchasing analysis, not a fabricated customer complaint.
Disadvantages, limitations and tradeoffs
Documentation consistency is a practical purchasing issue. The brochure quotes 223 g, a 4200 mAh battery and at least three hours of working time; the product page says the battery is replaceable. Treat these as manufacturer claims, with runtime conditions and the authorized replacement process to be confirmed. A battery-life headline is not a warranty promise or measured performance of a used probe. [K1, K2]
Ask for the current instructions for cleaning and disinfection, approved consumables, service location, replacement availability and return arrangements. Do not infer a safe reprocessing method from wireless charging or enclosure appearance. Request the exact regulatory documentation required for the country of use; general company certificates or a clearance naming different models are insufficient.
Approximate price and what it covers
No public manufacturer price for the exact delivered C10CX kit was verified. Obtain an itemized quote rather than importing a marketplace price from an unclear variant. The brochure describes free software/upgrades and an 18-month warranty extendable to three years, but those statements should be reproduced in the seller's local offer with exclusions and support responsibilities. [K2]
The quote should identify the probe revision, host, charger, case, any DICOM entitlement, taxes, freight, import obligations and service coverage. No claim that it is cheaper overall than another reviewed device is justified without those totals.
Comparison at a glance
Connection: Wi-Fi to a supported host. [K1]
Array: linear; documentation discrepancy on element count disclosed above. [K1, K2]
Frequency/depth: 7.5–10 MHz; 20–100 mm listed settings. [K1]
Probe weight: brochure states 223 g. [K2]
Runtime: manufacturer claims at least three hours; workload not established. [K2]
Typical scanning watts and complete local price: unverified.
Buying value and AZNO's assessment
C10CX can be investigated as a specialist wireless alternative when the supplier can close the documentation, regional authorization and support gaps. A low headline quote would not compensate for uncertain entitlement or service. Compare its complete proposal with the existing Lumify review:

Technology level and exact kit
Wireless linear color-Doppler platform according to the model table/brochure. Conflicting 192/128-element and color/black-and-white page copy requires delivered-revision confirmation; it is not evidence of clinical image quality.
Reviewed kit: C10CX linear probe, not C10CX PRO or C10UL.
Introduction year and unit manufacture date
Introduction year not verified. No actual unit manufacture date is established by the public model page. Primary dated/model source
The manufacture year of an individual unit is unknown until the seller supplies its serial/identification label and supporting documentation. A product launch date is not a unit manufacture date.
