Eight criteria, one consistent evidence standard
Source-based editorial assessment, not hands-on imaging validation. No overall score is calculated from a partial set of known criteria. This rubric is separate from the handheld comparison.
| Criterion | Grade | Evidence and limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Weight with internal battery | NR | Battery-included mass and pack count unverified. |
| Active console battery runtime | NR | Optional cart battery adds up to 240 min; not an internal-only runtime claim. |
| Attributable user image-quality evidence | NR | VINNO10 / X6-16L appears in a 2025 research protocol; not an owner review or comparative hardware score. |
| Technology and AI | NR | Global VLucid+ vs Spain VLucid 2.0. VFlow+, VShear, VAid, AI needle and FLYINSONO are regional advertised options. |
| User friendliness | NR | Touch panel documented; confirm complete pointing-control configuration. |
| Probe variety | NR | Request exact convex / linear IDs and probe-by-mode compatibility; no standard bundle assumed. |
| Storage and export | NR | Usable exam storage and exact DICOM / export entitlement unverified. |
| Normalized kit price | NR | Two Mexican asking-price examples: body-only vs convex + linear. “$” has no confirmed ISO code; do not read as USD or as a normalized range. |
NR = not rated, never zero. Overall score: not assigned.
Brand and exact model
VINNO is a Chinese ultrasound manufacturer based in Suzhou; its company-authored LinkedIn profile gives 2010 as its founding year. [1] Its product range includes cart-based, portable and handheld ultrasound systems. [2] VINNO's own report identifies VINNO 10 among products unveiled at its November 12, 2022 global launch event in Cologne. That event date does not establish local clearance or the release of every subsequent software version. [3]
What you are buying
VINNO 10 is worth a configuration-specific demonstration for a department looking for a portable console with a secondary touchscreen and a selection of advanced imaging options. Its buying case needs careful version control: the global page describes VLucid+, while the Spanish general-imaging brochure describes VLucid 2.0. These labels must not be silently merged into a single worldwide specification. [2, 4]
This is a documentation-based review of the human-use VINNO 10, also called V10 in manufacturer material. It is not a review of VINNO E10, E10P, A10 or the company's other portable models. AZNO has not performed hands-on or comparative clinical testing.
Use a defined reference package when asking for quotes: console with identified internal battery and charger, one convex probe, one general-purpose linear probe, B/M/color/PW capability, required DICOM/export licenses and a written warranty. Ask the seller to identify the platform and software release, not simply write “VINNO 10” on the first page.
Documented hardware and battery caveats
The Spanish brochure lists a 15.6-inch monitor, an 8-inch touchscreen, two USB ports, a USB-C port, ECG connection and a battery-status display. It describes an optional cart battery adding up to 240 minutes and an optional probe expansion arrangement. The added cart runtime is not a standalone console runtime. [4]
A battery-included console mass, current internal-pack count and controlled active scanning duration were not primary-verified for the reviewed regional generation. Do not import specifications from VINNO 5, 6 or A-series devices. Obtain the current instructions for use and an exact configuration sheet before assigning a portability score. The touchscreen is documented, but the complete pointing-control configuration still needs written confirmation. AZNO prefers a physical trackball plus touchscreen; that is an editorial preference, not a universal usability finding. Test access to gain, depth, freeze, measurements and annotation with normal clinical gloves, then check the approved cleaning procedure.
Technology, probes and software
The Spanish brochure names VFlow+, VShear, AI-assisted needle recognition and VAid thyroid/liver functions. It also describes FLYINSONO remote functions and DICOM configuration. These are regional advertised capabilities; local clearance, probe support and purchased licenses remain to be confirmed. [4]
Request a probe-by-mode compatibility table and an itemized license schedule. Advanced modes should be demonstrated on the actual proposed convex and linear probes. Keep any intracavity, cardiac, high-frequency or volumetric probe requirements outside the reference price until their exact models are specified. A seller's broad claim of “all functions” is insufficient for clinical or purchasing sign-off.
The manufacturer’s global description positions the system for critical care, emergency, anesthesia and general imaging. [2] Buyers should choose their own acceptance tasks within that scope. Automation should be checked for operator review, correction and documented limitations rather than treated as an autonomous diagnostic capability.
Storage, export and support
Usable local examination storage was not verified. Ask for the installed drive size, space allocated to studies, still/cine/report formats and the behavior when storage is nearly full. Test worklist entry, saving, export and recovery using de-identified material.
For remote services, obtain the security, account-access and data-location information relevant to the hospital or clinic before enabling them. Confirm whether service, training, software updates and replacement probes are supplied locally, and whether they remain available during warranty disputes or cross-border purchases. These are acceptance checks, not findings of a defect in VINNO's service.
Clinical use and genuine user evidence
A 2025 peer-reviewed study by Wang and colleagues identifies a VINNO10 with an X6-16L, 6-16 MHz linear probe in a retrospective study of 140 breast-cancer patients. Its methods describe use of a built-in AI detection module. The authors report public research funding and no other conflicts of interest. [5]
That is model-specific evidence of research use, which is more informative than an anonymous marketing endorsement. It does not establish the exact software in today's regional sales package, comparative console image quality or approval for every advertised application. The paper studied a diagnostic approach rather than owner satisfaction or a head-to-head hardware comparison. Its diagnostic statistics should not become a general product score.
No qualifying set of independent exact-release user image-quality ratings was verified. The Fracter MD product page had no posted reviews when checked. [7] Neither finding proves that users are dissatisfied or that relevant reports do not exist elsewhere.
Approximate price and what it covers
Two Mexican listings illustrate why the bundle matters: - Beracah Médica displays $293,624.85 including tax for a VINNO 10 listing explicitly excluding transducers. It names installation/training and two-year remote support, with travel costs extra, and shows a two-year warranty. One configuration line says “Vinno A10” despite the VINNO 10 title and SKU, so exact model identity must be reconciled before relying on the offer. [6] - Vitamed's Fracter MD listing displays $456,896.55 for a new VINNO 10 with convex and linear transducers, with shipping to Guadalajara stated as included. Exact probe IDs, software entitlements and tax treatment are not established. [7]
Both pages were checked October 14, 2026. Beracah’s retrieved listing does not explicitly establish condition; Fracter MD labels its offer new. The retrieved product text uses a dollar sign without an explicit ISO currency code, so obtain written currency confirmation; these figures must not be labeled US dollars or used in a currency-normalized ranking. They are public asking-price references, not an AZNO price or a like-for-like market range.
Limitations and buying value
The documented touch panel and imaging options justify a tailored demonstration. The main risk is comparing different regional generations and incomplete bundles under one model name. A low console-only price can be misleading if probes, export licensing and service must be purchased separately. Resolve those differences before judging value.
AZNO buying verdict
VINNO 10 merits consideration when its exact regional hardware, probes and imaging options meet the department's acceptance tests. The documented 2022 launch and model-specific clinical research give useful context. They do not remove the need for a current software-specific demonstration, internal-battery test and fully itemized local quote.
