Brand and exact model

SonoScape is a Chinese medical-equipment company founded in 2002, with its listed address in Shenzhen. [1] Its portfolio includes ultrasound, endoscopy, minimally invasive surgery and intravascular intervention. [1] X11 appeared in the company's 2025 event program and WFUMB material; these establish public presentation in 2025, not a precise first worldwide launch date. [2, 3]

What you are buying

The X11 is a plausible shortlist candidate for clinicians who want a portable console with conventional trackball control, a large touch panel and multiple imaging options. The current evidence is strongest on offered features and one regional configuration. It is insufficient for a numerical image-quality, value or real-world battery score. AZNO has not performed hands-on or comparative clinical testing.

This review covers the human-use X11. E11, X10 and ProPet X11 are different named offerings, so their prices, specifications and testimonials are not interchangeable. Confirm the regional model identifier and software release on the quote and demonstration unit.

For general imaging, request the console with internal battery and charger, one convex probe, one general-purpose linear probe, B/M/color/PW capability, required DICOM/export functions and a documented warranty. The cart, battery extensions and specialized imaging options should be separate line items unless explicitly included.

Documented controls and portability

SonoScape's product page identifies an adjustable-sensitivity trackball, magnetic charging connection and support for a one-to-four probe extender. Its advertised runtime reaching eight hours involves the E-Pack together with trolley batteries. That figure must not be entered as standalone internal-console scanning time. [4]

The UK offer from Celtic SMR lists a 15.6-inch monitor, 12.3-inch touchscreen, trackball and built-in battery. Its configuration cannot be assumed worldwide. Battery-included mass and controlled console-only runtime remain unverified. [5] AZNO's preference for a physical trackball plus touchscreen makes this interface arrangement relevant to the shortlist. That preference is not a universal ergonomics result. In a demonstration, check measurement precision, reach to the touch panel, visibility at bedside and use while wearing the department's normal gloves. Confirm approved cleaning agents and whether the proposed cart is necessary for comfortable prolonged use.

Probe coverage and workflow

The UK offer lists convex, microconvex, linear and phased-array probes, including C1-6A, C613, 12L-B, 18L-A and S1-5. Kit contents and local intracavity coverage remain unresolved. [5]

Have the supplier demonstrate the selected probes rather than a more expensive alternative. Ask about probe-replacement lead times and loaner availability. A broad compatible catalog is useful only if the required probe and its supported modes are locally available within budget.

Technology and automation

The manufacturer describes its C-Field+ platform, probe auto-wake, voice control, SonoHelp, SonoExam, SonoPage and SonoAssistant. The page also names S-CV cardiac measurements, MQA, ATI, strain elastography, CEUS and obstetric automation. [4]

This is a capability list, not evidence that every item is standard or independently validated for the buyer's use case. Ask which functions are included, paid options or unavailable locally. For automated measurements, inspect a result that needs manual correction and verify how the operator reviews and edits it. Do not convert advertised time-saving percentages into guaranteed clinical throughput.

Storage and connection to other systems

Celtic SMR lists a 1 TB drive, Wi-Fi, built-in ECG and DICOM functions including storage, worklist, MPPS, printing, structured reporting and query/retrieve. [5] A 1 TB drive specification does not establish 1 TB of usable examination space, and DICOM feature names do not establish compatibility with a particular hospital's setup.

Before acceptance, test a de-identified study from worklist selection through image, cine and report export. Request the exact DICOM conformance statement, usable study capacity, supported USB export formats, backup/recovery procedure and security-update policy. Keep the connectivity license and installation cost in the compared package.

Image quality and genuine user evidence

No independently attributable owner review or numeric image-quality rating for a clearly identified human-use X11 release was verified in this research pass. Manufacturer and supplier image galleries remain promotional evidence.

A manufacturer-posted veterinary testimonial discusses ProPet E11 and ProPet X11 together. Its species, product scope and selection by the manufacturer prevent treating it as an independent human-use X11 review. [7] The absence of qualifying evidence here is not evidence of poor performance or proof that no relevant reports exist.

Approximate price and what it covers

Canarymed lists the human-named SonoScape X11, SKU 04452, at EUR 19,995 including IGIC, the tax shown for this Canary Islands offer. The listing describes supply to order but does not explicitly establish condition, probes, software options, battery pack count or warranty. This is a regional advertised price observed October 14, 2026, not a verified convex-plus-linear package or a worldwide list price. [6]

Do not compare the figure directly with an ex-VAT European offer or a veterinary bundle. Request the exact kit, destination-specific tax and delivery treatment, installation, training and service terms. A lower displayed amount can lose its advantage once the required probes and licenses are added.

Limitations and practical tradeoffs

The clearly described trackball interface and documented regional touch panel are useful reasons to arrange a demonstration. The largest portability caveat is the difference between carrying the console and relying on trolley-based battery extensions. Unverified internal runtime, usable storage and kit contents remain buying risks rather than proven product faults.

AZNO buying verdict

X11 is worth considering when a trackball-led portable system with a substantial touch panel fits the team's workflow. Make the shortlist decision around a demonstrated local configuration. Make the purchase decision only after internal-battery performance, probe coverage, export behavior and complete installed cost are settled.
